Hill might fall into the "late bloomer" category. He's got some potential, but he wasn't noticed by anyone. He was a on a very bad HS team that didn't win a lot. Supposedly his former coach didn't send out any tape of him, his new coach did make an effort to get him noticed so there just wasn't a big push for him. I have heard that some schools were starting to take notice, but we jumped on him first. I'd say Morgan would be a better get now, although he isn't widely heralded either, having swiched high schools and positions late.

I think its more of a depth issue. We saw how dangerously thin we got at LB at times this year. Lost Councell, Spond, Grace and Ishaq Williams, three for the year and one for signifcant time down the stretch. Plus we're losing Shembo, Fox, Calabrese.

I don't expect some of these guys to ever see the field, but its good to have in reserve. I think they'll continue to recruit these positions in years to come and if they hit on a can't miss prospect, these guys will see the pine more, although I am hoping at least one emerges and surprises.
