THis clip gives you what is heard while watching tv then gives you what's heard at field level.

Just makes me drool waiting for the new and improved Husky stadium. Same roof to reflect sound back, same double deck where the upper deck reflects the sound coming from the lower deck back and now the seats moved right up to the edge of the field. That place is going to be crazy loud.

We kind of already know how loud since Centry Link Field was modeled after Husky stadium with acoustics and CL is the loudest stadium in the NFL. Husky stadium will hold around 2-3k more seats than CL and have seating as close along with a partial roof system similar to it.

Just bring your ear plugs as opposing fans coming to visit. The sound will be painful.
Of course we are waiting for the return of football that delivers the pain, but one step at a time.

Dude, I understand how acoustics work, and Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, and others, are built up high and contain sound. With an avg attendance of over 90,000, year in & year out, your Autzen Stadium is like comparing a Sanyo speaker to one made by Bose. Now, run along and go play with the rest of the kiddies in your Jr High stadium.

:laugh3:

Ok....

Autzen gets as loud as anywhere. Maybe not nearly as impressive to look at, but it gets loud.

It gets loud. But now if we could only travel half as well as Nebraska wed be in buisness.. Hell Id take 20% of how Nebraska travels...

thought we were supposed to close in one end at some point

They should, it really is a valuable advantage. Nothing is better than watching the game in the stadium and having opposing offenses have to call timeout or have busted plays because they couldn't get the audible to everyone. I really need some football.

Stadiums that require double hearing protection is simply poor engineering.

Humidity + Booze all day and night + spicy food = Some stinky mofos. I'm not going to lie, I smell something awful after tailgating the day before and that day without a shower.
