When I think of what this team could have done had it not been for being stingy with the money, but they were not able to see past the big picture and the rewards of a championship for the team. In the mean time, however the Lakers are fun to watch and they are going to have some losing streaks. Fortunately there are enough crappy teams that they can beat to stay around 50% and I would be thrilled with 40 wins

A thirteen lead is really nothing in the NBA, and we already know that. 48 minutes is a long time to play and expect a young team to maintain that kind of lead. Very few veteran teams have been able to do that. They are hanging in the ballpark, so they got a good chance and they are being competitive. That's a lot

I think we have OKC's number this year. Nice win. Two games with GS coming up. We might get a split to stay above .500. These kids are pretty tough under Luke and they have some grit we have not witnessed in some time. The days of El Foldo in the second half of games is rapidly dissipating. Onward we go.

It looks like Luke has somehow managed to get him to play to his talent level rather than his maturity level.

He was pretty funny in his post game interview. Young had acknowledged that he may have caught a pass that was actually intended for Lou Williams and said he wanted a steal too. lol

Then, when asked about hitting that game winner he says: "We've seen Kobe, Derek Fisher, 0.4 and all of that. Mine was kind of unique because I stole the ball from my own teammate."
