Last night was a good opportunity for him to get back on track, entering a blowout game with little at risk. But, he still had issues. Seems like the bullpen has been an achillies heel this year. I guess we are all aware of that, but it is right-handed relief in particular that has been a problem. Even Carson Smith has hurt us a couple times lately.

Hopefully the return of Wilhelmsen and Beimel (the band is back together!) will stablize things down the road.

He needs to be sent down to figure it out. The problem is already two other guys (Leone, Medina) have been sent down for similar reasons. Kind of stuck for now unless someone is signed or gets better in AAA. But yeah he simply isn't usable right now.

Optioning Farquhar would mean having to drop somebody from the 40-man roster as well because none of the righties available (outside of Leone and Medina who were just sent down) are on it right now.

Germano is the only righty from AAA who looks remotely ready to be pitching in the bigs. Something has to give if this happens much longer, though.
