Doesn't look like Aldridge is coming back.....

Blazers still have Lillard, who is the franchise player, yet Portland got rid of Batum and Aldridge...Two BIG parts of the puzzle with Lillard.

This is going to be a huge offseason for Neil Olshey...Hope he has something up his sleeve to get some big names to Portland to help out Lillard.

You have the PG to run a team, now just need to have the pieces around him. You cant blow this opportunity and go a few years without anyone to support Lillard, otherwise Lillard will probably be gone as soon as his contract is up.

Tonight should be interesting regarding Portland.

Yah, he has been unhappy for some time in Portland.

Lakers and Spurs frontrunners. Dallas still in the mix but fading right now.

What big names can he get?

Gasol is most likely in Memphis still. LA is out. Cousins, probably not. Love, most likely Cavs, possibly Lakers or Celtics. I just see them getting some good role players and waiting till next season and having a shit ton of cap room.

he was never happy because Portland was never HIS team, he was always Robin to a Batman.

If Pop got his hands on LMA then the Spurs wouldn't slow down a beat once Timmy hangs them up. Leonard and LMA together in that system is scary.

nope, when Roy was here it was Roys team, then lillard arrived and it became lillards team.

I will say I think that was part of the problem. They didnt know who their Batman was for about 2 years, after Roy left. Now Lillard has kinda took over that spot and Aldridge might not be happy about it or he just doesnt like Portland idk. Either way he wanted out for some time.

I think LA didn't like the fact he was always second fiddle in the eyes of the franchise and the fans. And also he probably didn't like Portland too much as a city, as there really isn't much to do here that is attractive to those who professional athletes compared to cities like Miami, New York, LA, etc.

Yep, Aldridge would replace Duncan quickly and Spurs would probably be contending for the title throughout the years LA was there with Pop.

May as well have the Lakers do a sign and trade and send Jeremy Lin to Portland for Lillard.

Yea, I think Jeremy Lin's days in LA are numbered especially if the Lakers take Russell.

IDK, I didn't watch Portland extensively but I've seen Aldridge put that team on his back in the 4th quarter plenty of times.
