Fleck neither played for Minnesota, nor coached under any Minnesota coaches, and no coach gets judged as a coach by just one game unless it's a difference maker, like a game determining who is #1.

The Bowling Green game would count if it was keeping UMn out of the cfp, but it's not, the Ohio St game to start the season pretty much put that out of reach.

Why do you bring up Minnesota in so many other threads? Like a typical person with some sort of Derangement Syndrome, you can't recognize you have it and hence can't admit to having it, or do and are too much of a loser to cop to it.

No cfb program wins all their games every season, and with the Gophers being in a very tough conference, I knew no coach was going to come into the program and instantly transform it into a Natl Title contending team. Fleck's gotten them into the Top Ten, he's improved the culture, and the team's academics has improved. He's got them contending for the West Division Title, and NO, losing today doesn't drop them out of FIRST in the Division. The only thing a loss today could do is prevent them from finishing tied with Wisconsin but losing the tie-breaker, like 2019. If they don't beat the Illini, then they STILL will have to beat both Iowa and Wisconsin to finish the season with the Division Title. Would knock them down to a lower bowl, too. That's life.

Dude, if you only talked sh1t about Minnesota in Minnesota game threads or threads started specifically to talk about Minnesota, that would be a different story. But it's SO OBVIOUS that I got under your skin and you are butt hurt over my ripping on Oregon for one reason or another, and now you can't stop bringing Minnesota up everywhere you roam in this forum. It's a clear case of FDS. It's pathetic.

And if your team had EVER won a Natl Title, or if you didn't lose to Stanford this season it wouldn't be so pathetic.


Fans of REAL programs probably laugh at you behind your back for feeling the need to try to focus so much of your energy towards making Minnesota look worse than Oregon.


You never see Bama fans talking sh1t about Minnesota, or Clemson fans. And only one dork of an OSU fan lowers himself to it. Otherwise it's fans of loser programs like FSU, WSU and WVU, that feel the need to talk sh1t about the Gophers. NONE of those programs have won more games than Minnesota the last 6 seasons, and Oregon's only a half a game ahead of Minnesota if you throw out the 2020 covid season, just 1.5 games ahead if you include it.

They were 6-2, with wins over Nebraska, Purdue(ranked at the time), Maryland and that 30-0 shellacking of Colorado.


And they were 6-1 since losing their super stud of a Running Back to season ending injury.

They were, in fact, without ALL FOUR of the RBs they started the season with for half of those games.
