Yep it sucks. That's why the ISU series stinks especially now with 9 league games. Makes it almost impossible financially to schedule home and home with other P5 teams. If Iowa St could EVER manage not to be awful it'd really be great

The myth of Iowa not scheduling is largely based on the last 2 years. In the last 30 years ( pretty much since iowa became relevant consistently) Iowa has played 55 P5 OOC games in 30 years including games vs Tennessee, Miami( FL), Colorado, K State, NC State, Pitt, Zona, Syracuse, Arizona St, Oregon and Nebraska. Iowa isn't opposed to scheduling good teams, they are simply more handcuffed than most because they have a locked in series with shitty P5 in state team and you can't financially schedule 2 road games OOC when you play a 9 gahe conference schedule. I'm really hoping in 2024 we end the ISU series. It's run its course

Boise State - Always wondered what the Blue and Gold would look like on the blue turf.
Tennessee - We've played then before H&H, just something about the checkered end zone and playing in Neyland Stadium.
Nebraska - Again have played them before in a H&H, but its been a while and hasn't happened very often.
Wisconsin - I don't think we've ever played them in a H&H. Would be cool to play up in Madison
Oregon - Again not sure we've ever played them in a H&H. Playing in Autzen would be pretty neat.

This list was hard as I tried to pick teams I don't recollect we've played or against teams we've played very infrequently.
