With the current affairs at LG that's actually a good signing.

I guess we have ZERO faith in Arie to play LG...Would it be crazy to have Trent move to LG and let Nseke play LT? not the craziest proposal ever.

Yes it would. You would ask the best LT in football to move to guard while paying him 16 mil per season?

It had to be done. Even if Nske plays LG lavou is better than Kojo.

I'm one who never thought it made sense to move Nseke to G, because he's too tall and would block the view of the QB. Plus, both of our starting tackles are somewhat injury-prone.

true, I just didn't want us to start kojo so I thought nske would fit at OG. Now lavou is on board hopefully kojo never sees the field or doesn't make the team. After the starting the five the next three should be the rookie, Bergstrom, and Nske. If we keep 9 then a rookie FA or kojo will battle it out.

I am okay with Nsekhe being too tall. It isn't like he is going to be standing upright and you have to look through lanes also. If they get to camp and like the kid Christian then he is likely going to make the team. That would mean 4 tackles on the line.

Perspective...

In 2014, we signed Lauvao for 4.25 mil per season. He started 41 games and nobody was ever happy with him.

In 2018, Spencer Long signed a contract for 6.85 mil per season and only 1 million more guaranteed. Long started 40 ga,es in that same time period at two different positions, playing both fairly well.

The Redskins tried really hard to sign Long back because he was one of their own...wait, that isn’t how Washington operates. They treat their own like shit and others cast offs like royalty.

Ya know, it is possible to both not keep home grown talent you should retain. And keep sucky players too long. The redskins have managed to walk that fine line and do both. All hail Bruce.

Players we let go...

KC continually low balled. They end up signing another team’s 34 year old, one year wonder, nobody else was going to pay for.

Spencer Long without any plan to replace him.

Trent Murphy with no intent to resign.

Brashaud Breeland with no intent to resign. Replaced by old ass Scandrick for 3.5 mil per season.

That is just this season.
