I think Bell was making it up as he was going along. Between that stuff, the tweet above about how he would not rather play anywhere else and whining about how much more fanfare he had arriving to New York than Pittsburgh (because rookies arriving and the top free agent on the market arriving are two totally comparable things) I'm surprised his eyes aren't turning brown from all the shit he is spewing.

Seems like he's got a soft ego and can't take everyone saying he took a worse deal so change the narrative.
