The one team Napoli destroys on a regular basis.
He has not been as hot against them this year so far. He is hitting .241 with only 1 HR in 29 AB. Against everyone else he is hitting a HR every 13.4 AB. He has plenty of games to turn that around against them though.

After reading that it made me think

Will profar be traded? No clue. It all depends, I suspect anyway, what he does for the next few weeks, and what we're potentially offered.

Will both delino and Gallo be everyday starters next year as I think they should? I think his point was a pretty solid one in re: to both of these guys. We'd be better off giving Gallo a fixed position (1st) and we are in dire need hitters who aren't one-trick-pony's (DeLino).

Will we retain Gomez? Unless he doesn't have a market at all I'd see him as gone. I wouldn't mind having him back myself though. Our OF is going to be "defensively challenged" with Choo in right, DDJ in left without a solid CF IMO.

Is there anyway to get rid of Choo and his contract? When is it up?
Choo gets picked on due to his contract, when in actuality, he's done a very fine job with the bat an he's not one of those "one-trick-ponies" I mentioned earlier. Kind of like to see us keep Gomez, and have Robinson as our backup OFer.....And it seems if I remember correctly, he's signed through 2020.

The older he becomes less likely to trade him without putting up some money. I believe he stays put.

He gets picked on because he's overpaid.

The guy is good, but for some reason we made the decision to pay him like he's great. His injury history should've been factored into the negotiations. I'm just disappointed with the deal from our end, but of course good for Choo / his family / his agent.

Big difference between a good player and a great player in my opinion.

Thinking most injuries came after the contract. You're right about being disappointed in his contract tho from our side. But we are getting some fair share of it back Win some lose some.

From Scott Lucas.

Texas has DL'ed reliever Matt Bush with an MCL sprain and optioned IF Phil Gosselin. Joining the Rangers are utility man Ryan Rua, who was pulled mid-game in Round Rock last night, and RHP Nick Gardewine from Frisco.

Texas drafted Gardewine in 2013's 7th round out of Kaskaskia College in Illinois, and until last year, he's worked as a starter or long reliever. Gardewine threw the final pitch for the High Desert Mavericks, retiring Visalia's Victor Reyes to claim the California League title in 2016. This year, he's posted a 2.41 ERA with 50 strikeouts in just 33.2 innings for AA Frisco. Like Ricardo Rodriguez, Gardewine has excellent control; after some early-season jitters he's issued only four to his last 93 opponents. He hasn't been especially hard to hit (.269 average, .418 BABIP) but has allowed only five extra-base hits all season. He throws a 92-95 MPH fastball and 86-88 slider.
