Agree we need proof. If the NFL suspends Elliott without proof, it's going to open ALL players to being accused of assault, rather if they did anything or not.

Yeah and Brady did it in Goodell's eyes (and every rational human beings). That is my whole point. He isn't worried about convincing the fans or general public if the player is "guilty", but he will only suspend a guy if he, himself feels it's justified and he feels there is enough reason to do so. I saw enough to suspend Brady even if his loyalists didn't. So if he suspends Zeke I want to see just as much evidence...and circumstantial or stuff that doesn't pass the common sense test like with Brady is fine with me even if it won't hold up in criminal court, but I need to see it.

Be careful how confidently you state that nothing happened until we hear what they have. IMO, based on what I've heard this far he didn't do it and thus shouldn't be punished, but I don't yet know what they have on him. Also, I don't believe anything Chris Carter says so this is a non-story at this point for me.

The only issue is that all Roger has to say is that this incident made the NFL look bad and suspend Zeke. If it is anything less than 6 games then that is the situation. Domestic abuse is 6 games min unless you are a Giants kicker. Anything less than that and you are being punished because Goodell is a tyrannical douche.
