So what is going on with the team, are they relocating or not? Does Fisher have the money to move or even keep the team?

Isn’t Fisher actually one of the more wealthy owners? He just doesn’t put any money INTO the team.

I haven’t heard anything regarding this move in a while, though. I think it is sitting in Vegas/Nevada legal battles atm…

Everything I see online just says he is worth X, but also makes it sound like he is running cash strapped if anything goes wrong with Vegas.

Like I said I have no idea, just wondering if any of you Bay fans have an update. Cause the A’s and Rays are holding up expansion

Yes, they will play at Sutter Health Park (pending MLB approval).

So, I guess sell-outs will still be a problem.

I like this even less than Washington Football Team. Why not just call themselves the California Athletics for now since there is no longer the California Angels?

If they need to rebrand for a short time, why not kiss up to the local community and call themselves the Sacramento A’s? No need to go generic if they won’t be doing a longer term marketing strategy.

Local (Bay Area) media seems to think the Vegas move is FAR from locked in. Who knows what will happen with this franchise moving forward.
