If this guy somehow stays around until the 4th or 5th round, I'd draft him. If he ends up being Rae Carruth Jr., it's not a huge loss, but if he ends up being innocent then he becomes a massive steal. In general, I'd say all picks after the end of the 3rd round are an absolute crapshoot anyway so you might as well go for the guy whose stock has tumbled for non-Football reasons.

One way to look at it....The NFL did not remove him from the draft. The NFL always talks about protecting the shield.

I say, take him with the 2nd pick. I'm not hearing anything suggesting he is guilty of anything and we have a chance to get the best O-lineman in the draft. Bill does not care what people will say......

How does that work?
If a team drafts him isn't he unable to sign with another team?
He would not be an "undrafted" free agent.

NFL said he can't get in next years draft. If this kid has zero to do with the murders...I feel bad for him. He has lost out on so much.

I think he is like anyone else who goes undrafted. He'll be a undrafted FA. Can sign with anyone. I think he was hoping to be cleared and then re-enter next years draft to cash in. One he is cleared, Teams will bid for his services.

Good question. I don't know. Most teams probably wouldn't have that type of cap space left after the draft, right?

He may be able to get an injunction against the NFL for supplemental draft or other remedy.....
