The thought of Kobe and another black hole on the same team is mind-numbing. I don't want Melo on the Lakers. The only people that do are people that only see celebrity and not how those two would fit together. We would be set back even further with that ridiculous deal.

^^^THIS^^^

If the Lakers sign Melo, they better find a couple of point guards with 4 arms and convince the NBA to allow the use of 2 basketballs in the game.

Nobody doubts that he had a sick career but it is well known he liked to party, not work on his free throws, and was often out of shape to start seasons. It is amazing to think what could have been had Shaq fully applied himself to basketball.

He truly would have been the MDE!!

Melo will never become a Hawk. The Hawks will never pay him enough to come here. That is all.

If I'm new york, I can't put Melo on the trading block fast enough. They need to ATLEAST see what kind of deals are out there before the trading deadline hits

I tried in Vegas, she wasn't having it lol. She's a nice person and will hold a convo with you though.

It's only right bro, her man's worth millions haha, she wouldn't have got there by being a ratchet.

It really is money and being at home and keeping your girl happy (and himself in the process) VS title contention much sooner or at all.

NYK need a rebuild in a bad way.

It sounds like I am contradicting myself here, it is not that he was lazy, he just never truly put BBall 1st. I will bet his life outside of the NBA was one of the fullest and richest of anybody. He considered Basketball a job first, he put his life first. I feel KD might be like that, need more info. But to MJ, Kobe, LBJ, Wade, Bird, maybe not Magic and Wilt, sexing it up was 1st with basketball a close 2nd :D

I would never teach my kids to be lazy though, enjoy life to it's fullest should be their #1 priority.

Well Shaq was unstoppable in the paint and a decent passer. His natural gifts allowed him to have a lazy attitude and still be an all-time great. I wouldn't knock a life that good, being lazy just means he didn't have to try as hard as the rest.
