Jamaal Charles saying he wants to play for 6 more years. My question is do you guys think kniles davis will ever get a shot as being a starting rb,This kid is a strong and fast rb and i think he can be the real deal if giving a chance!!!!

If Charles stays healthy and is serious about 6 more years, Davis will have to get traded or play out his contract to realize his potential. I don't know his details, but between injury, trade or contract, Davis should eventually get his shot.

i think hes a monster, but charles is too......and they dont do a two back system in KC.......they have him under contract...so hes stuck

Charles has this reputation for always being hurt, but if you look at his career, he's only really missed one season (2011 - he missed 14 of 16 games). Of his other 6 seasons, he's only missed 3 games total.

In fact, looking at my spreadsheet of 3-year averages, there aren't many of the top-rated RB that average more "games-per-season" than Charles. (Arguably only 4 that have a better average.)

Davis may be waiting a while.

yes, but AP is AP... Knile davis is a 5foot 10 speedster... Don't get me wrong, I am not saying he cant be great... I am just hesitant with him... I don't think his numbers are as good as they seem...

5'10 227lb speedster !!!!! when given the chance he will flourish!!!!!

again, I am not saying he cant be good... I just feel like we are already saying that he WILL be great if he has the opportunity... I just don't see the confidence...

Lets look at his numbers more closely,
2014- 134 rush attempts for 463 yards that's a 3.5 YPC(which is also his career average)
he had only 4 games of 16 or more carries and 2 games with over 100 yards rushing
Only 2 games with over a 4 YPC(more than 1 attempt)
He had 16 receptions for 147 yards but HALF of it came from one play...

I just don't see the confidence!!!

Who said he was going to be great!!!!!!!! I just said i think he can be a monster. Turner was a monster his 1st 2 years with the falcon,but he's not consider one of the greats!!!! Jamal lewis was a beast for the raven,but hes not condsider among the greats either!!!!! Man even jamal anderson for the falcon was a beast a couple of years and hes
definitely not among the greats!!!!!
