Need Sale to stay the course and get back on track in this outing. Hosmer just stroked his second HR of the night, as I type this...

Need a win tonight, can't lose another Sale start. Taking two of three this weekend would be a big morale boost, I have to think.

He's been unlike himself lately but the bats and the pen did their thing. Anderson starts at SS and goes 2 for 3 with a 2b. Hope he's the real deal!

Yup. Encouraging showing from the pen, and a disaster avoided on that bunt where it looked like Abreu got his left arm taken off. That was scary for a split second.

Always good to see a rookie have a nice debut. Looking at his AAA numbers and scouting reports, he looks like he certainly has all of the tools. It'll be interesting to follow his progression, and seeing if he can give us a spark here and there. I'm assuming Saladino will still be our guy at SS for the time being.
