I would agree. USC had great defenses. Bamazing had great defenses. USC had great offense. Bama has an offense
FOOTBALL OUTSIDERS: Innovative Statistics, Intelligent Analysis | 2012 FEI RATINGS, OFFENSE
Alabama #7 offense in 2011(#1 Defense).
Alabama #4 offense in 2012(#2 Defense).
I have no real opinion/care on which would win, but I'm not sure why Alabama never gets credit on offense.
For shits and giggles, Alabama offenses under Kiffin:
2014 - #6
2015 - #18
2016 - #19
AJ McCarron was under-rated.
You already told us those teams weren't good.
I'll take them over the '05 Dolphins all day. Then again I am biased. The 2013 Seahawks were pretty good.
With AJ Mc Carron at QB? The rest of the team was great but against a defense where Clay Matthews couldnt crack the starting LB spot? Umm noKiffin wasn't a coach on Alabama's best team - 2011/2012.

I'm not one to play the what if games, but AJ McCarron was under-rated and Alabama doesn't get the credit they should offensively.
You guys can argue over who would win all you want, I'm ok if everyone thinks USC would win.
Umm Pete had more than two seasons at USC.The same Carroll teams that lost to terrible UCLA and Stanford teams to keep them out of a shot at a national title?

"Kiffin wasn't a coach on Alabama's best team - 2011/2012."
Those are your words, so no idea why you would spout of Kiffin's offensive stats in an argument of Saban's best vs Carroll's best.

If you are OK, than why are you arguing?
