LMAO what 10 games into the season and he is already jumping ship

If the rumor is true, then I don't think it all has to do with the Cleveland situation, I just think he always considered the Lakers.

He may have always considered the Lakers. Marquee franchise. He could be the face of it. Call me whatever you want.. I just think it has to do with Cleveland or SoCal. Would you rather be robin in Cleveland or Batman in Socal? Seriously, this isn't a tough decision for 99.9% of the population not born in northeast Ohio.

Love has a much better chance of winning a ring in Cleveland right now. I mean outside of an old Kobe what exactly do the Lakers have to offer? But isn't Love from the SoCal area to begin with? I thought it was a huge gamble for the Cavs to trade for Love. They have no way in knowing if Love will stick around or not & could have possibly given away Andrew Wiggins for a rental.

This is probably more likely. I really can't remember but how hard did the Lakers court him last year? and was this just a case of him being enticed more to go to Cleveland this year than to LA?

If I was Kevin Love I'd rather go to L.A., always figured he'd go there anyway.

Read the same thing earlier, just not on a laker site.
Of course he's going to opt out, he can make way more money that way. As far as him going to LA, of course they'll get mentioned. TO my understanding his plan was always to opt out, and I'd assume once the ship gets righted in CLE he'll jump right back on.

Seriously? What a dick. Its only been 1/8th of the season. This is what happens when stars from shit teams merge with stars. "Oh Im not getting my regular stat line." Pathetic.

The Lakers didn't court him all that much, the Lakers didn't have many assets to give for him last year. The most I heard from them last season is that Love was there with Carmelo at some point when the Lakers were trying to sign Melo.

And we were told that Love gave a verbal commitment to resigning in Cleveland prior to the trade. I'm having a hard time believing this current rumor.

Once he opts out and becomes a free agent this verbal isn't going to mean much once GM's start contacting his agent. I think cavs success will determine what he does. I'm sure playing with lebron and kyrie there are some expectations he has for the team. I would think its at minimum making the finals
