Plans on graduating and then transferring. Can't say I didn't see this coming.

Hate to see anybody go, but it does free up a scholarship, and on paper we seem stacked at QB for the next couple years.

and the newest rumour has Baker Mayfiled hanging around since Thompson is transferring. He has to sit a year, anyway, so why not?

Yeah, you can tell Thompson has skills but sadly for him the cards didn't fall his way. That foot injury at the beginning of the season, killed any chance for getting adequate playing time.
