Dodgers get Grandal, Joe Wieland and Zach Eflin for Kemp and $30 million

LA also gave up Tim Federowicz, backup catcher.
Good. Now maybe SD can deal him to us since L.A. never would. He'd fit right in in Left Field.
I am trying to figure out why LA would refuse to trade Federowicz to us...
And how would he fit right into our LF picture?
We are in dire need of a left fielder and Kemp plays left field. He hits, hits for power, plays D. He'd be ideal. And L.A. would never trade anyone of value to the Giants.
I keep wondering what the Dudgers are going to do with Van Slyke. I think he has a shot to be a pretty good player if he got consistent ABs.
You were talking about Kemp? You quoted a post about Federowicz...
At 15M, Kemp is MUCH more attractive, but no way are the Padres going to trade him. He is now their darling. The Pads have a semi-legit payroll now and they need to attract the fans, and selling Kemp now will not do that.
