Are we supposed to fear Kansas? I havnt been able to decide one week they lose to a terrible team 6-3. Next week they win against number 15 Georgia Tech. So i dont know what im supposed to think about Kansas.

I think they lose to Southern Miss on Friday night. Its gonna be a year of ups and downs for them.

Kansas will give us all they have. Trust me, Turner Gill will want to beat us and he will have his players ready to go. I fear Kansas, but I also fear every single other Big12 team on our schedule as I know we are the marked team this year.

I doubt Gill will need to remind them about the beatings we have administered to KU throughout the past century, most of which he was part of as a player and as a coach. It has to be a little awkward for him in that situation. Also the fact that this will be the last year to redeem a small part of any past animosity.

I don't know how you lose to a D4 team then beat a top 15 team. Oh well...guess it just goes to show any team can beat any team on any day. I too have them losing @ USM.

The type of offense that Paul Johnson runs is right up Turners' alley. Shit Gill grew up running the triple-option. With all his years with T.O. I'm pretty sure he knows how to prepare for it very well. I think that's the reason Turner and the Kansas team found success against G.T.

One thing you have to remember though is that they actually put up some points on GT..........say what you want about GT's defense, it's just as good as Southern Miss who gave up 41 to South Carolina in week 1.

To me that tells me the offense found something in week 2, and I would expect them to put up some points on Southern Miss

Kansas found a new starting QB. Kale Pick started the game against NDSU and Jordon Webb went in mid way throught the 4th quarter.
Kansas Offense out-gained NDSU 298-168.
They also had 3 turnovers and had a punt blocked on their 10 yard line.

Kinda sounds like our ISU game last year..
