"Jump shooter" Durant is averaging 14 FTA on 18 FGA...

i've spoken many times about this. Durant gets way too many calls because of his lack of physical strength. if you so much as breathe on him he falls down. the contact lebron melo rose etc take is far more yet none of them get to the line nearly as much....

Eh, LeBron and Melo are much, MUCH closer to Durant than is Rose:

Durant: 8.2 FTA on 18.8 FGA career / 13.7 on 18.0 this year
LeBron: 8.6 FTA on 20.1 FGA career / 6.9 on 16.0 this year
Melo: 7.7 FTA on 19.5 FGA career / 6.3 on 20.9 this year
Rose: 4.9 FTA on 17.4 FGA career / 3.3 on 16.0 this year

Outside of this season Durant, LeBron and Melo go to the line at roughly the same rate. Rose, on the other hand, gets the respect of some D-League scrub who just slept with Stern's wife.

LeBron always gets to the line, as for Melo and D-Rose, they don't do enough to draw calls, especially Melo because he's proven in the past he's lazy and will jack up shots

Rose drives to the basket as (or more) often, and as (or more) aggressively than any player in the game. He draws a TON of contact but for whatever reason the refs have always swallowed their whistle.

Maybe he should get some Flopping lessons from LeBron... or perhaps he should start "acting", like Westbrook.

Apparently that's how you get respect from the refs nowadays.

You drive, you draw contact... a foul should be called. Period. But in Rose's case this just doesn't happen. Derrick has spoken out about it a couple times over the years... and Thibs just brought it up a week ago.

Next Bulls game just watch how often Rose drives, and how much contact he draws. He "should be" among the league leaders in FTA every year, yet he takes fewer FT attempts than many role-players.

Just in to say LBJ is not even close to sniffing the d leagues jocks, he is terrible. durant melo kobe and fat lever were robbed of the mvp the last 4 times lbj won it and since lbj is starting slow this year that validates everything lmao haters

Also it does seem that a few players are getting a lot of preferential calls like harden ghe othrr night twice in 2 possessions with the game on the line

James is faaaaaaaar from terrible; however so far this season he's not close to the best player in the league.

First off......Durant is taking more shots than 18 a game. 18 shots are only being counted. Meaning...when he gets fouled on a shot and it doesn't go in....no FGA is counted.
