Good pick up for Green Bay. I wonder if it's just a rental or they're looking for him to stay a while.

He can't stay too long, he's not that young anymore. I have a feeling he's just going to be a situational guy for a year or two

I think I saw 3 years 30 mill but with only 7.5 in guarantees. Essentially they can get out of the deal with no penalties after the 1st year.

I wanted my Bears to resign him... He is still a very good DE in the NFL, very disruptive, and while he may not be the sack artist at RDE he once was, I'm real curious about him moving over the LDE and putting the fear into all those RT's out there. I'm bummed.

I think it's good for the Pack. They aren't heavily invested, they get a guy that, under the right circumstances, could provide that situational pass rush they need. Maybe not on his own, but Daniels is a guy that is coming into his own, get a healthy Matthews back and maybe Jones takes a step up his second year, they'll have enough up front to cover up for the lack of a safety in the back.

What's with the north and always recycling each other's FAs?

Great signing for the Pack! Should do wonders for their terrible defense.

I have a feeling Denver's gonna wish they signed Peppers instead of Ware.

I believe I would have gone Jared Allen above either of the two, if you're looking for a flat out pass rusher.

And twice a season he get's to go at Cutler, that could be interesting....

Yea thats a big part of this. If you're the pack you got to beat the bears and when pep is motivated he's unblock able. He's going to come extra hard when the bears are around, that'll be sweeet.

Seems like a pretty good deal for the Pack.

Quite surprised that Thompson went the free agent route but pretty damn happy about the signing. This is a definite upgrade to their struggling defense.

a perk to this deal is that Peppers wasnt a traditional FA since he was cut, so it wont affect any comp picks.
