What's the consensus on this guy? Will he be reinstated? Will he dominate? Hasn't played in a while but he was lights out at one point and he's still young.

Others have shown interest around here... not so much for me, as I wouldn't have him in my top 30 receivers or top 75 overall.

We'll find out if he's Cris Carter or Justin Blackmon. I'm leaning Blackmon.

I think he is worth a stash or a late draft pick, but we are talking round 12 or later. The odds are stacked against him. Also remember, he was pretty terrible last season when he did play. he is unlikely to hit and I think most fantasy owners have an unrealistic expectation for what his ceiling is. There is literally no chance he plays as well as he did in 2013.

The way I see it, no he is not a top 20 WR going into 2016 but he does have more upside than any WR2 you could draft. And for that reason I do have him as a top 30. Someplace between 20 and 30 not sure where I would feel safe with an 8th round pick depending on how risky some of my other picks were.

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders.

His QB is still a question mark. But they were when he played too.

In 35 career games, his yards-per game is 78.7 which, comparing that to 2015 WR numbers, there were 15 WR who averaged more. So he may be in the WR2 discussion assuming he maintains his career numbers and controls his substance abuse. I worry about the 2nd part.

That is why he will be undraftable in most rounds.

7th or 8th round? No thanks. It is highly unlikely that he will be the same player that he was before. Even if he is, there were very real concerns with his route running and work ethic. If he is more than a WR4 flyer, you are paying too much.

If he crushed it in the preseason, I may re-evaluate my stance.

If he crushes it in the preseason the price tag will go up too high.

Was toying with moving Ziggy Ansah for Gordon and a rookie draft pick.

For reference Ansah scored 167 point in our league. 167 points. WR20 scored 171. But there are a lot more WR scoring in that area than defensive ends so I was trying to gauge what kind of a draft pick I would require as well. If I'm interested. I have the same concerns about whether he will ever be very good again.

Full 53 man roster with 10 man practice squad.

We can run a 34 defense (2DE, 1DT, 4LB, 2SF, 2CB) or a 43 defense (2DE, 1DT, 1DL, 3LB, 2SF, 2CB).

It's a pretty even scoring system. Your top pass rush and big play guys generally score as much as your tackle guys and the defense rivals the offense in scoring but usually outside the top 10-15.

We use every NFL position. Yeah. Even OL and PN. We're kind of sick.

I don't like that deal for you at all. Ansah is what? Top 10? Top 5 at his position? He is young and still improving. In a league like yours, a DL who scores that much is as valuable as an elite WR. If you deal him for Gordon and a pick, you are getting hosed unless that pick is near the top and the player you get is comparable to Ansah. Gordon should be viewed as a throw in, not the central piece.

Agreed.

Ansah finished 3rd at his position.

If we're talking a rookie draft in a dynasty league i could see giving up a first for him he's risky, but so are most rookie picks at least we've seen he can do it before.

OL go off of the teams statistics. 1 point per 50 yards offense minus 1 point per sack. So. Joe Thomas (Cleveland) get 300 yards offense (6 points) and the offense gets sacked twice. Joe Thomas gets 4 points. It's imperfect but it's the best way we've found to do it in the MFL system.

PN = Punter. He scores a point for each punt down in the 20 and points based on his average at the end of the day.

Might their be a way to use profootball focus grades?

Team stats make sense, but if you go that route, you might as well use a team OL. It kind of sucks that Joe Thomad would get penalized if his teammates get burned.
