it seems we will have a lot of movement in the month of june . johan would seem to be tj spot on the 25 man .hunter most likely brach . i'm thinking nolan will have to be added this month . matty at the earliest has been said to be the all star break . peg was re dl'd for both his hammys so they could keep him . bundy should start pitching in the minors this month . i still think we will see gausman at some point in late june or early july . on hunter i hope as sorry as he was pitching was due to his dl problem .

What are the success rates of Achilles recovery, I figured once you heal there's no after effect.

Well, I guess I was comparing Johan Santana to the case of Roy Halladay, where you have a formerly-dominant starter suddenly falling from peak and then retiring a few years afterward due to injuries. To put it another way, my line of thinking was "considering Santana's age, having to sit out for another year [for any reason] is not going to help when his pitching ability has been declining in the recent years due to injuries."

For a pitcher? Really not sure. I'm thinking this might not be the final nail for Johan since, if nothing else, it's going to give him time to get everything else totally healed and in shape for a run at next season. I don't see him quitting over this.

I think the injury would heal but he'll lose all that time built up getting his arm back in shape so that will have to happen again. I think they'd like to give him another shot if he heals well.

ask nolan and ryan howard but may be different for a pitcher . took both of them a year to year half to be back to where they were before injury .
