If I had to guess what we're gonna find out as the details emerge it is that two grown men acted like angry morons and the mutual breakdown of common sense made this happen.

With that said, I suspect there will be an arrest even if it's only for PR reasons.

He was arrested and released right away already. Charges will be dismissed. He acted in self defense.

That man's gun very well may have saved his own life. It's McKnight own fault he's dead.

Yes, because you hear all the time about people getting beat to death in road rage incidents. Simple fact is -- if the shooter DIDN'T have a gun, he wouldn't be running his mouth to a kid half his age.

So without the gun -- it'd have saved two lives. McKnight's and the shooters who will deal with the guilt of taking another life for the rest of his life. As well as deal with McKnight's friends and family who will seek retribution if he isn't charged (see police patrolling his house right now --because that will end soon and someone will seek 'revenge')

He doesn't seem like the type of person who will be too weighed down by the guilt.

Two incidents, same location. One person hunted down and assaulted and the other shot dead. It will be interesting to see what he's able to get done the next go around.

Pretty easy to tell who gets themselves in trouble with cops around here, and who doesn't.

Two old guys punching each other is slightly different than taking another human beings life. And from what they say -- he is a loner, so it isn't like he will have anyone to talk about his problems with.

Wouldn't be surprised to hear about him taking his own life at some point in the future.

Killing a guy at the same intersection he got into a road rage fight 10 years earlier. This guy should not own a gun. His days are numbered, vigilante justice will strike

It's amazing how much stories change once the truth comes out.

First, it was the white guy going to McKnight's car and shooting him, then pulling McKnight out of the car and shooting him again while he lay their on the ground.

After the initial investigation, we have learned that McKnight gotout of his car and tried to open the shooter's passenger door. The shooter then fired shots at McKnight while still sitting in his car.

I'll never understand why "witnesses" think that they need to lie to the police. Forensics will always tell the truth.

He may still be charged. The shooter was only released until further investigation. He has a bad track record. Hopefully he is brought to justice. And is held accountable for his actions. In the mean time Rest in Peace Joe Mcknight. Thoughts and prayers to his family way too young.

I'm guessing you haven't read the post on here that said Oklahoma belongs in the CFP then or you wouldn't be saying that. :behindsofa:

Oklahoma deserves it before Michigan.

Definitely. The one common opponent we had -- OU definitely looked like the better team:pound:

There are some years where Big 12 fans would have an argument. This is not one of those years. The Big 12 is a dumpster fire -- so much so, Okie State could have been the champ and they 'lost' to the 5th best team in the state of Michigan.

OU is really good, until they face a team that can play any defense.

Don't care. We didn't lose to a shitty Iowa team. We won our conference. Suck on it.
