Joe Flacco - elite, 2nd tier, or bottom feeder?

  • He's an elite Quarterback

  • He's ok, probably in the 2nd tier or "page 2".

  • He's hanging with sanchize and geno.

I'm sure its been said before, many times... But Flacco is one of, if not, THE best postseason QBs in the NFL. Why that doesn't translate into the regular season baffles me. But until he can prove himself all season long, then he'll remain on the 2nd tier.

He may never put up big time regular season #'s. Although for a 2nd tier QB (seems like alotta people feel that way) the start to his career shouldn't be diminished, I'm not saying you've said anything like that. 72-40 & 10-5 in 7 season are great #'s. And his TD to int ratio is damn good, 148 to 90 in 112 starts.

That's the problem , those no#s aren't good, but he has been really good in playoffs and brought home a trophy

2nd tier.

But, I like him. He reminds me a lot of Big Ben.

Was from before the playoffs last year so adjust accordingly. Look at Tom Brady near the bottom little man doesnt like travelling away from the "HOME" field advantage. does he?

Misleading stat. That's primarily because of the defense and the running game.

And the number is wrong, he's 10-5 in the postseason.

There are 11 starters on offense and 11 on defense. I always laugh when people bring up the record of a QB. It's a team game.

IMO, there are only about 4-5 elite QB's anyway. No shame to be called 2nd tier.

A lot of similarities and they are the prototypical QB needed in the AFCN.

Correct. The problem with this poll is the OP calls the 2nd tier "okay".

Better than okay, but not elite. I'd have him in the 10-15 range of best QB's.

There should be a 2nd tier range and then 3rd one of just okay (or average) QB's. Not enough groups!!!
