Valpo is picked to win the Horizon League..........they're comparable to probably teams 6-11 in the BIG this season.....

We'll understand a little more what our chances are (if any) of winning any games in Conference play this year.

It was good to see Andre actually play a little.

Ubel looked like a totally different player. Is it just me or did he add about 20 lbs of muscle in the last year?

The Frankies are beat up right now. They might be playing their 3rd string TE tonight.

Even so they'll put 30 on Ball St.

I am skurred though because thee Frankies haven't been playing well as of late.

I ended up going the opposite way..........

Ball State at -7 went all the way from +105 to +120...........I had to jump on that, especially when I am already feeling like they could easily win by a TD.

I parlayed it with NIU -10 tonight against Toledo. What the hell......I got lucky as hell and won over $500 last week by hitting two 3-teamers..........might as well throw $50 down on one for fun

I do not want to root against the Frankies.........and I won't root against them. Money is just money......

But I do see an opportunity to make some money here, so I might as well try it. I just don't see Ohio covering +7 tonight.

Our bench is putrid though, and it may come down to us just not having enough D1 bodies on our team

Back to the Valpo game tomorrow, do we win this? I'm thinkin we win at home. But I don't follow basketball as much as some of you here.

Valpo received top 25 votes in Preseason........and they've dominated their first 2 opponents.

They are very good. We will be out-matched. I am hopeful since we are playing at home.......but I see us losing by 10 or more unfortunately.

Plenty of Kool-Aid here I guess. I'm thinkin we got a healthy (and beefed up) Ubel and healthy Talley. Plus Parker seems to be the real deal.

Imagine what a HUGE kickstart it would be for Coach Smiles if we could pull off the win. Just wishful thinking on my part I guess.
