Jimmy ... the dude from the streets

There is this young man named Jimmy from the streets of the inner city which made him feel so alive. He lived for the streets ,taught kids how to play ball and swim. Jimmy could stand with the best and he never backed down ,even from the biggest who would test him.

Could throw a baseball through a barn door. Could catch a ball from a low flying plane. Always would take kids on the streets to the ballgames. He wanted for them to always have the best . He gives back to his community and give kids hope for later on when they would have to pass a test. Life is funny sometimes , sometimes it can be sad , sometimes it can lift you to a higher place.

Jimmy always would take the high road and never backed down the low road. High hopes , high spirit , he had the talent to let others walk along with him. A friend forever and no one can take a friend away. Gives the kids that lift and set their dreams going forward in their minds and spirit. There still is hope for the world today because Jimmy looks out for the kids when others just walk away without a word.

Jimmy always had that special vibe. Would give his last dollar to buy a kid a snack , a glove, a bat, down to the last stick of gum. Next time you walk by some kids in a inner city town or where poor kids frown , give them some time, hope, laughter and let the world shine.

Jimmy would spend the time and that ain't no jive. Peace .
