Probably signed due to a possible suspension of race car driver Robby Gordon Anderson.....

I watched a Skins game early in the season where they actually said "If Pryor can ever learn how to run a pattern"

NFL WR, if he ever learned how to run a pattern......SMH

you know who that guy was?

chad johnson.

literally never had to learn to run routes, which is why he failed here so miserably. when he came here it was the first time any coach made him run routes. oregeon state, cincy...basically "get open".

yup.......The Skins were so desperate at WR last season, and Pryor still stopped seeing snaps.........Not a fan of him at all.........Think all of his success that season in Cleveland were mostly straight fly patterns, and thats just not sustainable, at some point you have to learn the position

Dude was a high school/college/NFL QB.
Route running was not his area of operation until he couldn't find a job throwing the ball.

Pretty tough to switch positions in the NFL and be great at the new position...he had a good year with CLE...maybe thought his game was more developed than it really was...(WAS learned the hard way)...the one good yr he had in CLE, they threw it to him a ton.

Still a developing player at this position...at 28 y/o.

Cle was trying to get him back. Guess they weren't trying as hard as the Jets were.

Guess he didn't want to take any part in Cleveland again.
