That kick pass by Maatta on the blue line was slick. He's looked stronger as this game has gone on. Perhaps his confidence is returning.

What's funny...this is the best period the Pens have had thus far. They look much better in the third than any other period.

That's a good line. Geno's a playmaker with a shot, Neal's got a great release and is a pure goal scorer, and Jokinen is very handsy around the net, able to clean up Neal's rebounds and find soft spots when Geno's controlling the puck behind the net.

Gibbons looks good with Crosby and Kunitz, too, by the way.

Similar styles, but I don't know that Pyatt's as smart a player as Rupp.
