My only real complaint about the show was the pacing. It was pretty darn slow. But that did build the tension, so there was a point to it.

Also, after the revelation in about ep 9 or 10, it kind of made the first 2/3 of the show rather pointless.

There are lots of tiny little plot holes that can be nit-picked (why didn't SHIELD, Hydra or ATCU get involved with a super-mutant like Killgrave?), but it was good enough to get over.

So who is Simpson? Does he have a comics equivalent? When The tried to kidnap Killgrave the first time, I began to think he may be Iron Fist, but then I remembered that they have supposedly scrapped the iron fist plans for the time being. What were the pills he was taking? What was the organization he worked for? Was that an offshoot of Hydra?

What reveal? I thought the amount of hs powers did hat more than anything else. Made it seems like Silas from Heroes season 2 (aka the point when the entire show went to complete shit).

Also the stupidity of shooting the tank open is just incomprehensibly dumb.

And the biggest plot hole of season 1 is a pretty big one:

WHY THE FUCK DID JESSICA BECOME IMMUNE TO HIS CONTROL?

The part about the other stuff made sense (until Hope at least) because Kilgrave did everything he could to slide under the radar, even when he saved that family with JJ he made them forget he was ever thre.

Plus, while some people believed that powers existed, NO ONE actually believed mind control was real until they experienced it.

It has been a while, but I think the reveal I was referring to was JJ's immunity. I can only assume that the immunity was due to her powers.

but she wasn't immune initially.

She avoided him that whole time because even she didn't think she was immune.

They never truly explained why she was able to break free. My guess is it has something to do with the shadowy govt org and what they did to her. But they may never truly explain why.

I love lower expectations because the first season was great because of a guy who is dead now.

I doubt it'll be as good as S1 simply because no one else Marvel has used yet has come close to Purpleman.
