Does it? Not sure it means a whole lot. The interesting thing to me is that it happened in the Seattle area. What's he still doing here? If the team isn't bringing him back, I'm assuming there would be at least some sort of direct or indirect communication to him from the team to that effect...so wouldn't he want to get out of the area, especially in the winter? Something doesn't add up.

We save nearly $5M by cutting him, I can't imagine in any world he'll be back. Seattle is probably hoping they can trade him for a 7th rounder or something, but I doubt it. According to PFF (and of course just by watching him) he's one of the worst CBs in the league. I thought the contract to him was ridiculous, I think I gave it a D+ or C- grade.

The fuck couldn't even pass a physical forcing us to give up more ammo in the Brown trade.

His contract is very unfavorable and before this he likely would've been cut bait, or at the least they would've attempted to restructure his contract.

I can't imagine he's going to be allowed to stay now.

Some more facts rolling in on this. It appears his BAC registered only 0.03, so pretty far under the legal limit. Doesn't mean he's ineligible for DUI, but a decent lawyer is probably getting this knocked down to a lesser charge.

Even with that, I don't think his play on the field has been so good that something like this wouldn't at least be factored into any decision about keeping him around.

To my understanding they were testing for marijuana as well along w/ the alcohol...

Probably the case. It's not just alcohol that can get you a DUI.

Probably so, which is why I dont think this incident really changes anything. He was thought to be gone anyway. It's sorta weird he's hanging around though if he isnt expecting to be back.

He probably thinks since it's "legal" in WA then that means he can drive while using.

What little shot he had to come back is probably up in smoke.

Honestly I think Lane may have taken a few too many hits to the head. He sounds like an absolute idiot.

In the article:

The report states Lane expressed concern over being arrested on suspicion of DUI and that he didn't want people thinking he was drunk, with Lane quoted as saying, "This time I was more high than anything."

Uhhhh... "This time"?

He then tweeted:

"A fail DUI is 0.08 right? I blew 0.03 why was still arrest!!! I'll leave it at that."

Dude can barely speak English.

Maybe Jeremy lives or has a place in the Seattle area which is why he is still there I mean he was drafted and played his entire career with the seahawks.

But honestly I think he even knows that his career in Seattle is over I mean they did try to trade him already but the way the seahawks have cleaned house with the coaching staff we can expect that this roster will be next be prepared for your favorite player to not be a seahawk next season I have a feeling there will be some broken hearts and new faces coming this summer.
