He has had 4 games so far (out of 5) with 0 assists. Considering that he plays 34 minutes a game, that's really hard to do. There's so many instances during a game where a player accidentally gets an assist simply from swinging a ball.

This is no anomaly either. Last year Jaylen Brown had 38 games (out of 78) where he had 0 assists. I've never seen a non big man who plays as much minutes as Brown does that averages less assists a game than he does. This has to be a record right? Especially with the pace of today's game.

I doubt it. But I think it is safe to say at this point that Brown probably doesn't see the floor very well. It is something he will have to work on in order to become a legit star.

hes not a playmaker. hes an athletic wing who can create his own shot, not for others. hes still young and can improve.
