Not sure what him not being American has anything to do with the discussion of whether or not Jacksonville should sign Kaepernick or not. There are CEOS and Head Coaches that are American that have said Kaepernick is a starter in this league and SHOULD be on a team. The thing we should be discussing here, and not getting political about, is whether Kaepernick is a better solution than Bortles and Henne.

Kaep is definitely better than Chad Henne. Don't know about Bortles though. Despite the stats Kaep put up last year, he still couldn't win more than 1 game. At least Bortles is consistent with his 4 or 5 wins a year lol.

Other way around with Darnold and Allen even if I don't see it yet. Rosen and Lamar Jackson will also be hyped. If Francois is eligible he might be floating under the radar.

Bortles would not have one four games with the 49ers last year. An elite QB like Brady or Rodgers might have gotten the team a few wins, but with the league's worst to next to worst defense last year and crappy running game no average QB would have done much better
