Marshawn Lynch - RB - Seahawks
Marshawn Lynch has yet to formally file his retirement papers.

The Seahawks placed Lynch on the reserve/retired list last week, but he's apparently never even informed the team of his official intentions. Everything, including Lynch's placement on the reserve/reserved list, is based on his tweet from early February. There doesn't seem to be any doubt that Lynch is actually walking away, but he's doing so in true screwball Lynch fashion.

I don't know. His numbers don't add up but everyone knew where the ball was going and he'd still be truckin 320+ OT's up the gut for 4+ yards. But I'd take him at his peak over Bettis in a heartbeat.

He belongs in the hall. Fuck the stats. He had a 5 year stretch where it was him and AP as the 2 running backs that teams completely based their defensive game plan around and AP's a no-brainer. Half of a guys career he's the most physical back in the league and that doesn't get you in? I don't even like the guy. But I loved watching him carry the rock because I haven't seen anything like him since Earl Campbell. Just pure violence.
