Is Koyack going to live up to the hype?

He did play great towards the end of last season, but as a starter this year defenses are going to pay much greater attention to him. He's been named a preseason all-American and one of the most underrated players in CFB, as well as the third best senior TE in next years draft. With only 10 catches last season, I do expect him to be good, but damn, expectations are a little too high IMO.

I'll admit he seemed to come on later than most expected, but I'd just assume chalk that up to having to learn and play behind Eifert and Niklas since arriving on campus and therefore not getting a lot of reps. His blocking skills are questionable, but have improved a little. He is, and always has been a threat and receiver and in the #2 position last year made plenty of great plays.

I hope so. I think he will be fine. Our WR Depth is crazy so he should find he role on this team. I cant wait for this season. I think we have a good shot at making the playoffs. Im a little worried about our D. Offense should be fine. No more excuses for Kelly on offense.

I think the defense will be great myself. All the injuries last season gave the guys on the DL the kind of experience they would need to be good this year. Also Williams really has been out of position his entire carer at Notre Dame so this switch will hopefully allow him to showcase his abilities. To me the only real question is a Linebacker and that is only because of the injury of Grace but I think the team has plenty of unproven talent on the roster to handle the Grace missing time.
