Is it possible for the ACC to only have 1 ranked team in the AP after this week?

That's not really a fair comparison as WVU has 5 more losses than Okie St.

Currently Va Tech and tOSU both are 2-1 where one has a head to head win over the other...

I get that but it also matters who you lose too and when.

Stanford is also ranked ahead of USC.

I hate to be the one to point this out but please stop w/ your ACC stuff. Sure they only have one team ranked right now but they happen to be the defending national champs. And if you look at the BigTen & ACC record through only 2 weeks of the season the ACC has won more games...

BigTen: 18-7

ACC: 21-3

I would listen to Wamu and follow suit with the other tOSU fans who aren't acting like little d-bags because of one game. You really do look pathetic Authority.

The reason this could happen is because next week, the SEC will have all 14 teams ranked in the top ten.

Pffff whatever.

Impossible when you have Nebraska, Iowa, and Penn State.

By my math, if you have these three b1g teams in top 10 with 14 ACC teams vying for top 10 spots then only 12 of these ACC teams can fit.

Florida State will be ranked regardless. NC State has a sure win, just depends on whether or not it's enough to get them in the rankings. Duke is in the same boat. Winner of Virginia Tech and Ga Tech has a legitimate point to being ranked. I don't have North Carolina ranked, but if they win they will be ranked. Clemson will drop out if they lose to Florida State. If Pitt beats Iowa, they also could make it.

NC State came off a 3 - 9 season and has barely beat Georgia Southern and Old Dominion.

I don't think a win over Presbyterian is going to shoot them into the rankings.

North Carolina and ECU seems to be a toss up game at this point as does

Iowa and Pitt although I would give the edge to Pitt although not sure that win is enough to have them ranked.
