This is really hot for Seattle weather. My window air conditioners can't keep up. I got in my car yesterday and burnt my hands on the steering wheel, I now put on gloves when I get in the car. LOL.
Suppose to get up to 111 degrees tomorrow. Good god that's like landing in hell. I'm worthless once it hits 90degrees.110deg is the hottest I've experienced over in Idaho... Very unusual for the PNW coastal areas...

A toothache? Odd I also been battling a tooth ache.I've had a terrible toothache for the last week, and the heat is wreaking havoc. Tuesday can't get here fast enough.
Same. Thanking the stars above that I got all my sprinklers replaced weeks ago!Suppose to get up to 111 degrees tomorrow. Good god that's like landing in hell. I'm worthless once it hits 90degrees.

One fan....that's it? Damn that's rough. I got two windows air conditioners and 3 fans and it's not enough, got more fans on the way. Also waiting on a quote to install a real air conditioner. It's like Seattle got transported to death valley. The extreme heat we are experiencing can kill you. Going to take a cold shower, hopefully that helps.Mon is supposed to be 113.... No AC in my apt. Just glued to my 1 Fan. Tooo DAMN HOT!

57 here. Time for a (sweat)shirt.
Omg thank you! It rained and thunderstormed here and the humidity made our 84 degrees feel like a fucking nightmare. During the fucking thunderstorms we couldnt open our windows!
Pretty much why I haven't installed said AC, but this seems like a trend, it's happening more often and it's time to recognize it. Of course it will come down to cost.lol I spend 2 months of the year in the inland empire in southern Cali during the summer ( July through August ) 110-115 is not un-heard of. Also Harold is a whole house AC worth it when you only see these type temps once in a blue moon? you can get 28,000 BTU window units that can cool off 2000+ Square feet when it's needed. or just put a couple 10,000 BTU units in like one in living room and one in bedroom and you can get 10,000 BTU units for less than $200
then for the other 9-10 months of the year you can store them.
A lot cheaper than having a $4000-$7000 whole house AC installed.
We have 2 12,000 window units in California and that cools off the whole house but it's only 1100sq.ft.
