Game Thread: Iowa week/game thread

We open at 6.5 favorites, coach calling for a second Whiteout, glad I got my tickets and will be in the house

If it wasn't another night game and most likely another White Out I don't see us covering the 6.5. Iowa for some reason has always played us tough and I consider them our rival even though I really wanted our rival to be Nebraska. I was at the PSU- Iowa game where they beat us 6-4. I don't see this game being close to that score. I predict PSU 28 - Iowa 21.

That 6-4 game was the worst game I have ever attended in any sport. Turned to my cousin and said, this has to be the low point, it has to get better from here...and it did. Nobody on the Iowa roster has ever played in Happy Valley, let a lone in a night game whiteout atmosphere.

Wish I could go! I think it will be exciting and the team will be very fired up again like they were against OSU. Not sure about how the last minute white out will turn out but at least the student section will have gotten the memo

Franklin clarified he wasn't looking for stadium wide whiteout, just the same atmosphere and level of noise this week......although, a ton of people I know are all going and giving him the whiteout he initially requested.

yeah, those are sold out, but those damn kids can't be bothered to show up in time for kickoff. God forbid they drink 1 less beer. Always pisses me off when I see those 2 sections at side/top empty at kickoff and not full till 2nd quarter...especially for a damn night game

Of course TV never shows it completely full all the video they show is the empty bleachers so people who can't attend see this and think my God the students are giving up on the team and wont even make it to a whiteout vs OSU game.

Iowa always plays us tough. Both teams seem to be getting healthy at the right times and this game should be a another close game between the two. I really think it being a night game and whiteout gives Penn State the slight edge with momentum.

Oh well, heading to Happy Valley, absolutely beautiful weather....almost 60 and sunny today, 50+ at kickoff only falling into high 40's with no wind.....much nicer than OSU weather
