This is a pretty big relief as a Michigan fan. He provides a little bit of a cushion for our other QB's to get better.

Alex Malzone (early enrolly freshman)

Forgot about O'Korn. He's the Houston transfer. But he can't play this year.

Well, only 3 are here right now and only 2 were here last year. So only 2 have really had a chance to prove themselves yet and two of them in the fall will be true freshman. Not to mention, O'Korn isn't eligible this year. So it's still really 5 QBs for this year. I have to imagine Harbaugh will be able to get one of them to perform well if not great.

I don't know, he had some pretty decent stats. Certainly not going to be a star, but should at least give us an average fall back if everyone else is a bust. He had some pretty good games, especially one against OSU.

If Morris doesn't start, he's a bust and likely won't be much good to us. Leaving 3 freshman, a 5th year QB and a trasnfer that can't play until next year. When he's eligible, our 5th year senior would be gone; leaving 4 guys on the roster. If Rudock does start, that gives the 3 freshman and O'Korn time to learn the sytem. All 4 would then compete next year for the spot. Works out pretty well if you ask me. When you're looking for a QB, this many options isn't a bad thing.

My guess is the Rudock will start unless Malzone or Gentry turns out to be some sort of superstar freshman.

So are they pulling Morris's scholarship, otherwise you need to count him. Also Michigan is still recruiting QB's so you need to count at least one more QB for that on your 2016 roster.

you cant have too many QB's.
They'll have personal problems and quit.
They won't go class and make their grades and flunk out.
They wont put in the time to be successful at the College level.
They'll get mad they have to wait and transfer.
There's a gazillion reasons to have 6 QB's.
