Interesting tidbit on 2015 draft

Draftsite.com has a 2 round 2015 mock draft up on their site. Prior to the 2014 draft, it was simply listing teams alphabetically. However, the new 2015 mock has teams listed by projected record and coincidentally, they have the Rams picking at #26... that means they feel the Rams either win a wild card playoff game or have a 1st round bye... interesting.

Walterfootball has us at #19 drafting Dante Flower, DE from Florida. I love Gators, but I doubt we will draft a DE

Charlie Campbell also has us at #19 but taking FSU CB PJ Williams.


I'd like to note that most project Browns to have TWO top 6 picks lol

I think you might be wrong on the QB focus retro.. I think Bradford and Gilbert are the pair for the long term...
We really cannot make determinations like that until the season plays out.

I agree completely on this one. I personally have a very dry and sometimes dark sense of humor. My close friends as they say "Get it" but many others don't or at least not till a few days later when they fall out of their chair. lol It really doesn't translate well to the computer. So yeah agree with this one 100%.

Can he become long term backup, I solid backup that might have to step in to play anywhere from 1/2-3 games? It never hurts to have one of those players and where we took him, I'm be happy if thats what we got out of him.

I don't know STLADAM. I am leaning in the direction of what I originally posted and in conjunction with Ice Freeze. I think he'll make Shaun Hill expendable in a couple of years and he may give Austin a run for his money for the number three spot. I think he'll land on the practice squad which is what I envisioned the Rams doing with say a Mettenberger.

Yeah, this seems likely. If Davis couldnt make it on the field last year, no real point in keeping him

I think Gilbert will be a much safer candidate for the practice squad. Someone like Mettenberger has too much name recognition and successful major college experience; the first sign of QB depth issues elsewhere and someone would claim him.

I think Davis and Gilbert are competing for that practice squad spot though. Most teams won't carry 3 QBs with a 4th on the practice squad.
