I don't know if this has been brought up or not, but again heard it on the radio.

The Seahawks, during the Russell Wilson era, have never won a playoff game on the road (with the exception of the Super Bowl. Now, they have never had to play a playoff game on the road, but I thought it was an interesting point.

This game will be another test for Russell and the rest of the team. A first time, if you will.

Yup, that was the beginning of the end for RGIII because that's the game that really messed up that knee for good.

Kind of a hard game to forget

In Willams defense, if he really punched him in the face instead of shoving it Sherman would have been done for that postseason.

Yeah not sure where you heard that stat but it is not quite right. Now given the one win they had on the road they were losing going into the 4th quarter and my guess is with a healthy RGIII the Seahawks lose that game.

Nah, he looked liked the walking dead in the Cowboys game. I remember he got hit late in the game and just laid there on his back. They should have just shut him down for the season after that game but Snyder's a fucking idiot.

And then the next week we were up with 1 minute left in the game and lost. So woulda coulda shoulda.

True enough, but if he was the walking dead in the Cowboy's game then the knee-twist in the playoff game was the straw that broke the camels knee. He was never the same after that.

28 seconds

Our famed "LOB" let us down in the last 30 seconds of that one. Too bad, because that was a comeback for the ages that we had nearly pulled off. Not quite as good as the NFCCG against the Packers, but still very impressive.

Not really. I forgot about that long ago.

I was more just commenting towards the fact that Washington really was just moving the ball at will until RGIII got hurt. AS for the next game it is another week and obviously the Seahawks started out much better in that game but didn't quite do enough to win it.

Now I do think most Seahawks fans know and really this applies to most teams in the league that teams are typically better at home than on the road. I still think Seattle has a great argument for being the 2nd most dangerous team in the NFC for these playoffs so they stand a very good chance of making a 3rd straight Super Bowl.

Started out better? We were down 20-0 at the half to Atlanta. In the Washington game we quickly got down 14-0 in the 1st quarter but it was a one point ball game by halftime. RGIII never left the game until half way through the 4th quarter, but by then we were up 19-14.

Sorry forgot about that with the Atlanta game. With RGIII he came into the game hurt. He didn't have his usual speed at all that much was obvious. He then hurt it worse on the 2nd drive of the game where he was rolling out to the right and laid on the ground for a bit because his knee was hurting so bad. After that he was nowhere near as effective. That is why I say that a healthy RGIII and Washington wins that game.

Maybe. No way to know. Seattle had a habit of pouring it on late in games on the road that year. We ended up winning that game 24-14 so it's not like the Redskins defense was stopping us at the end of that game either.
