If you could pick 5 places to watch a college football game at besides your favorite teams what would they be?

For me it would be:
#1 LSU on a Saturday night-This would have to be at the top of my list. From everyone I've talked to that's been there's nothing like a Saturday night in Death Valley. Seems like it's nuts.

#2 Notre Dame-Such a traditional school filled with tradition.

#3 Ohio State-Very passionate fans, loud as hell on Saturdays, beautiful stadium.

#4 Texas A&M-Would love to see the Midnight Yell. Watch a lot of their games on TV and it looks like a top notch atmosphere.

#5 Clemson-My second favorite team behind Tennessee. Howard's Rock and running down the hill is one of the greatest traditions in college football.

Going to the Army/navy game is on my bucket list
That'd be my first choice as well.
The other place is BYU. People that have been there say there isn't a more beautiful setting in which to view a football game.

5-2 in no order.

The Shoe
Neyland

#1 Orange Bowl before Miami left. We talk about loss of tradition but that place was the shit 20 years ago. Now they have a downtown mausoleum. Would have loved to see that place when it was rocking.

1. Boise State (odds are I never will, but I'd love to see it in person on a cold November night)
2. Texas A&M (Honestly, no stadium looks more awesome when filled out than Aggieland)
3. LSU (I wanna see drunk corn dogs in their natural habitat on a Saturday night)
4. BYU (That mountainous backdrop is the best in college football)
5. Virginia (They have the big hill where you can picnic and watch the game in a lawn chair)

Hasn't been the same lately with both teams not being in the top 10 annually, but the OU\Texas game is one of the more unique game day experiences you can ever attend. Really a cool atmosphere and setting.

I've been to games in about 30 stadiums around the country including bowl stadiums and Jerry World. The major schools I still want to visit are:

Auburn
Michigan
Penn State
Clemson
Arizona

The only two schools I never want to be around their fans again at home are Colorado and LSU.

Yeah. I try not to judge a whole fanbase based on a few morons, but that's the only reason LSU didn't make my top 5. Had a really ugly scene with my fiance now wife there where if the police didn't break it up, I would have quite literally beat his ass to death after what he tried to do to her. Most LSU fans are pretty cool though, nothing against them for the vast majority. Probably 6th or 7th besides that incident though.

We found the LSU fans to be really poor sports. We watched a game there against Alabama and I was not wearing LSU colors so I was naturally considered to be an Alabama fan. Yea, I like Bama but I was wearing a fucking white shirt with a Polo logo on it and I was being supportive of good plays by both teams. I finally got so mad that at half time we asked around and some Alabama fans started giving us Alabama stuff to wear until my wife and I had on Tide shirts, Tide hats and we were waving Tide pennants. We even moved over to the Tide section where we all screamed ourselves hoarse watching Bama win in overtime. Fuck LSU fans. The only description for Colorado fans the three times I attended games in Boulder is drunk, doped up and stupid.

Going to the Army/navy game is on my bucket list
This is the way I was going ot approach answering this question. In addition to Army/Navy, some of the rivalry games I would love to see include:
  1. Harvard/Yale
  2. Lehigh/Lafayette
  3. Ithaca/Cortland St
  4. Claremont-Mudd-Scripps/Pomona-Pitzer

Lot's of rivalries at the FBS level as well, but all of the above, I think, would be a lot of fun to witness.
