If there was an expansion team & you have to give up one starter, who would it be?

If there was an expansion team created (Ex: Seattle) and your team has to give up one starter for the pool in the expansion draft, who would it be?

That's why this thread is fun, it's pretty much an amnesty of a big contract OR choose your least talented player OR choose a veteran that's old OR choose a player because he doesn't fit your system OR your least favorite player that starts for your team

I want to see what kind of roster a new team could get

For the Buls, i'm letting Boozer loose and into the draft.

Hmmm... for the Heat it comes down to Rio or Battier.... and I'd probably pick Battier.

... unless you think Bosh might be headed out anyway.... could let him go and save some $

Nash (if allowing for injured starters in this scenario). It would be nice to get rid of that last year at $9 million. Unless the expansion team is in Canada though, they probably wouldn't draft Nash.

That's a great question!

Hmmm, I think for me it would have to be George Hill.

Love the guy, but he'd have to be the one to go.

Interesting choice, but could see why you make it. Indiana is a well built team.

I hope we can get at least 12-15 players, interested to see what the team could come up with.

Right now they have PF Boozer, PG/SG Hill, SF Battier, PG Nash

West is getting kind of old...and PFs are a dime a dozen these days.

I thought about him but David West is the heart and soul of the Pacers, and a lot of people don't know that. He is what keeps this team in line, and is the one who everyone listens to. A locker room gem is David West. Plus his defense down low with Roy is great and his outside mid range J is still top 5 in this league. His style of play, especially his 15 footer, is something he could do for at least another 3-4 years, well, and continue to be a huge asset for our team. I would keep him over Hill because the Pacers are so close to a championship, and West would take them further than Hill would.

Hill would have go.

Prince. Not a good contract and he isn't a fraction of what he was back in the day

I am hoping there will no more expansions unless they decrease the number of games each team plays in a year. I think the two games for teams not in the same conference is good, but change the number of games in the conference to 3 at the most. Even then 3 * 14 = 42 + 15 would be 57

Now if you add a team than you have some room under the old 82 games. Personally I think 60 to 65 would be enough games.

Right now they have PF Boozer, PG/SG Hill, SF Battier, PG Nash

Add PG Lin, C Perkins, SF Prince.

Team is lacking a legit SG so far lol

for the heat... for me it's rio. battier makes the most sense. but i dont really consider battier a starter. he only gets 20 minutes a game. chalmers gets 29 minutes a night. the reason i go chalmers is because i think norris cole is better. i also think the heat have plenty of guys that can bring the ball up the court outside of just the PGs.

If we are picking starters, then i would get rid Klay but if i could give anyone away from my team it would be Onjgen Kuzmic.

I'm a Bucks Fan... Can I give away the whole team other that Giannis and Henson? If I had to pick just one though it would probably be Larry Sanders. If he ever got his head on straight he would be a good player but I don't think that will happen. He's crazy.
