Oklahoma Sooners
It has to be the ultimate tie-breaker between Ohio State and Alabama and whoever else is being considered, right.
We already saw that game.

I do think marketing will have a say in this, as Bama and Georgia haven't played.
That's a good point, but does having two teams from the same conf sway opinions?
As long as they are in the same bracket, I've got no problem with it.
If the committee shuts out the B1G champion for the second year in a row it will be it's undoing.
I agree, but it won't happen. For that to be the case, one of two things would have to happen.
1. Rank UGA #1 over Clemson who had a blowout win of their own
2. Move OU down to #4 after their blowout win
I just don't see either happening.
Yeah. Things would have to be manipulated. That's why we have a committee, right?
what time is the selection show? tonight, right?
I think noon, ET.

Georgia got to redeem itself against Auburn. Bama can't play Auburn again, but they can redeem themselves against Georgia.
They did, but that's because of the conf champ game.. which maybe should be done away with, but that's an argument for another day. Anyways, Bama not playing UGA would be a bigger deal if they didn't play some of the same teams. At the end of the day, I don't think you can say much for Bama's resume. Auburn was really the only big game on their schedule and they were solidly beat... Auburn then turns right around and looks horrible against UGA. It's going to be a tough decision because both OSU and Bama can't make much of a case as to why they should be in.
I think USC has the same argument as OSU. They are afterall conference champs with 2 losses.
