To be fair, Sanchez himself was the #5 pick in 09. Just because you pick at 4 doesn't mean you're immune from taking a QB that could become buttfumble 2.0.

Throwing well at pro-day doesn't change the fact that he completed 56% of his passes over his college career (53% his final year).

For reference:
Andrew Luck - 67% (over 70% his final year)
Cam Newton - 66%
Andy Dalton - 62%
Ryan Tannehill - 63%
Johnny Manziel - 69%

If you're only completing 56% of your passes in college, it's not going to be pretty vs NFL defenses.

Throw Connor Cook into this mix as well.

I thought he threw really well yesterday.

Big frame, live arm, I don't give a crap about the decline at Penn St, I think he stood strong in a very tough scene in Happy Valley. I believe with the correct coaching staff and not rushing him he could very good in the league.
