Washington is the Norte Dame of the PAC12, everyone hates em…not to mention the gold colors… northern mossback elitists.
Maybe in the PNW Washington is the most hated but I think if a poll was taken among all the PAC schools that USC would win that award hands down.

ok…i'm biased here. would say Huskies over USC, because of the lore of old. close, but no wub cigar here.
Usually UW and Oregon St. fans get along pretty decent .. except when Oregon St. had Ralph Miller as head BB coach and UW had Marv Harshman. Those games got dicey and they always seemed to come down to the wire.

That fvker always wore those brite ass checkered golf pants .. the ones that blind ya.

I will say this, one of the best college football teams I've ever seen take the field was the 2000 Oregon St. team. That team was fvkn awesome.

by years end, i don't think there was a team in the country that could beat them. i had 1 epic year in like 40 total. endured 28 str8 losing years in a row. it etches a man. gawd owes me.
If the game at Husky stadium had been a few minutes longer I think the Beavs would have taken that one. That game had everyone standing. Oregon St. made a big time run. By the time they met up with ND in the Fiesta Bowl they were cranking on all 8 cylinders and then some.

Andersen has them heading in the right direction imo although I wasn't too hot on his choice for starting QB last season. I think he needs to give more leeway to his OC.

The future of Pac-12 football: What do the next five years hold?

The Pac-12 is headed toward a crossroads. Can they stick with the pack in the conference, or are things bound to change?

Let’s make some predictions about the conference.

1. Washington will become the premier power in the North.
The Washington Huskies have stacked up their depth chart for years. They have the best coaching salaries outside of USC, Oregon and Stanford, so stability shouldn’t be an issue. They recruit in the top 25 regularly. They have a top-two coach in the conference in Chris Petersen. And based on the depth already stacked on the chart they have a defense that should be among the nation’s best for years.

If Washington can improve their offense to elite levels, they will be contending for national championships on a yearly basis.
