and if you do att.com route, don't use their shopping page. Go to your account and upgrade each line by clicking "view eligibility". Got through on those first try each time. When I went the regular shopping route it failed onthe eligibility check.

Att.com is already dead.

They were projecting with the pent of demand of iphone 4 users who didn't upgrade to the 5 cause of the lack of real increase in the width of screen and 5 users craving the bigger screen, that 20+ million units would need just to handle the Sept rush.
Anywhere from 60 to 80 million sold by end of year. Unreal.

They will be sold out by today for the next couple weeks of supply through all carriers. October will be the next option. There is no way you'll be able to just walk into an apple store in a few days or ATT, etc.. and buy one. Just going to have to wait a few weeks.

I ordered a 64gb 6 on VZ around 7am. Didn't have any problems with the site at all, until I realized there is an extra $30 upgrade fee?? wtf? Taxes and 'fees' added an extra $50 to the price.

I called AT&T yesterday and got the $40 fee waived for both my phones. It can be done.

I don't have either charges on my card this morning and I only have one confirmation email from AT&T, but that is for my wifes 6+. That is supposed to be the harder phone to get, so as long as that order made it through I'm good.
