I knew I wasn't crazy for saying that the Hall of Fame's standards are too low! Deion agrees.

It seriously is just the hall of good now. Are you a popular player whose team had postseason success, preferably a Super Bowl win or two?

I don't think you really understood what he said.

What he said is yes those in the HOF belong there, but he deserves to be placed on a higher pedestal than the others, and while he gets a gold jacket those beneath him should have a different color.

Deion is great, but he needs to STFU, and take care of the rest of his toes.

I agree that he does say that, but he says more than just that. Read this part. I definitely do agree with his statement that it inducts players who were merely good. Do you agree or disagree that it is inducting players who were merely good?

They let guys in now who never even had one first team All Pro or just one. It should be elite

That's what I think it should be (honoring the best of the best), but it seems like the pro football hall of fame is more of a story of the game/popularity contest kind of Hall of Fame. I guess that is fine, but it is wrong. LOL.

Well...Drew Pearson was NFL All Decade and it took him 30 plus years.

IMO, THERE HAS ALWAYS BEEN SOME STRANGE SHIT ABOUT ALL THIS SELECTION STUFF.

Thankfully it's not like basketball

So Deon's swelled head had reappeared.
He was half a football player

Yes, but he was also 1/6th of a baseball player. :D

Deion's crazy, but there is no doubt that he was a great football player.

Yes I sat there and booed him at Giants home games when he played for the Cowboys and the Giants. He seemed genuinely mystified as to why Giant fans turned on him

The guy wouldn't tackle. I'd take a Rod Woodson over him any day.
Deon's request ought to be honored. I'm sure there's a broom closet somewhere in the hall

Revis could shut down WRs and tackle.

He has 512 career tackles. Not a outstanding tackler, but everyone knows that he was a great corner.

Revis could shut down WRs and tackle.

Interestingly, Revis has fewer career tackles than Deion. Doesn't mean Deion was a better tackler, but that criticism of Deion is way overblown.

And besides, is it really a good thing that your corner makes a bunch of tackles? That might mean that he is getting targeted a lot and giving up a lot of receptions.

What are the stats on Deion's teams and giving up rushing yards? Did teams really exploit that against him? I don't remember that at all.

Deion has 16 more tackles in 43 more games
